What We Do

Each chapter has a executive board comprised of volunteers who are ultimately responsible for approving activities suggested by YOU, the members. Each month members receive an emailed newsletter and calendar of events.

Moms need support the most when our spouses and partners are not home so all but one of our activities are held during the day. We have activities and sub-clubs that support a wide range of interest and age groups. You are free to attend as many or as few activities as best fits your situation. Below are some examples of past events:

Mom’s Activities: These can include, but are not limited to: Mom’s Night Out, Cooking Club, Book Club, Fit Club, Lunch Bunch, Frappuccino Friday, and DIY Divas.

Children’s Activities: These can include, but are not limited to: playgroups, park days, craft activities, seasonal theme parties, story hours, field trips, etc.

MOMS Club of Camas also participates in and supports many charities around our local area. Charitable donations are made to local non-profits and charities, as well as volunteering time and effort. We here at MOMs Club believe that by strengthening our community, we can make strong families.

Our Goals and Principles

  • To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children
  • To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers
  • To help children in the community
  • To perform at least one service project yearly helping needy children.
  • That women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment
  • That, for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job
  • That a family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice
  • That there is no one right way to raise children, but our members have a common concern in raising their children in a healthful way

Community Service

Along with our commitment to supporting each other in our chapter, we also devote time and fund-raise for community service projects in our area throughout the year. From Habitat for Humanity to Holiday Family Adoptions to Back to School backpacks and Foster Care graduation baskets, we aim to assist where we can in Clark County. Our Administrative Vice President is constantly finding new areas for us to serve. Please consider helping us by donating to our Non-Profit chapter.
